Throughout the days of reading this play, and specifically last class where we acted out the scenes, my opinion of how the characters interacted and responded to each other and the audience was changed in that how I thought about the character of Polly, her father and mother and how they interacted with each other. The differences specifically were that in reading your imagination and the characters personalities are largely a mystery where as when you can see the actors playing them and see how the characters feel through there facial expressions and body language the experience is change, your experiencing with these characters when your watching them act out the play instead of reading it. The problem with this is that your in danger of having information be overlooked such as the characters tone of voice in how they feel about things since you can't see the bodily movements and how they play off the words being said how a character truly feels about a situation is left unclear also a danger of trivializing the dialogue a character says when your reading because you have no idea how the character responds.
Listening to the music and how the score the songs came that influenced the character songs influenced the satyr of the play and gave a refreshing insight to how not only the songs interpret the world and characters but the audience as well, such as the score for many of the songs were common everyday well-known ditties that everyone would have known and been accessible to the audience making the play something to be experienced not just watched and enjoyed. This gives a completely new idea to plays in that the interaction from the play and audience engages you more as a audience member giving a new perspective in how you and the world of the play act to each other.
